Barbara A. Roe, 1952-2003, Warrensburg

Barbara Ann Roe, 51, of Warrensburg, died Saturday, Dec. 13, 2003, at the Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.

She was born Dec. 13, 1952, in Excelsior Springs, a daughter of William D. and Clara Pearl Bledsoe Cunningham.

Ms. Roe worked as a cosmetologist and lived most of her life in the Warrenburg area. She was a member of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include a son, Jeffrey Scott Garrett, of Warrensburg; a daughter; Rhonda Sue Garrett, of Warrensburg; her father, of Warrenburg; four sisters, Lydia Sheridan, of Littleton, Colo., Mary Ratliff, of Lexington, and Billie Poncy and Gladys Bernstein, both of Knob Noster; and four grandchildren. She was predeceased by her mother.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Hoefer Chapel in Higginsville, with Pastor Jack Ratliff officiating. Burial will be in the City Cemetery in Higginsville.

Visitation will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, for one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the charity of the donor's choice.
